Question:
Basic t shirts and vests
I need to buy some basic black/white t shirts and vest tops not to wear on their own especailly , but just to have for layering with other tops.
Where do you recommend i get them from ?
Normally get top shop...but had none my size when i was in today
I usually get tshirts from Gap because they last really well, keep their shape and the Cotton is really good quality. I tend to find that Topshop ones lose their shape after a few washes.
Primark vest tops are ok if you are just wearing them under things and because they are so cheap I wouldnt begrudge having to replace them after a few months or so. Having said that the vest tops and tshirts I have had from there have lasted better than any Topshop ones!
If you want something a bit more classy you could try Agnes B or Petit Bateau
My favourite basic white tees to wear under things come in a pack of 2 and are from M&S men's dept  They wash beautifully, don't shrink or lose their shape at all and are a great length!
I tend to buy this sort of thing from gap. The other day though I bought a long sleeved t shirt from dorothy perkins and the body and arms are really long. I have long arms and long sleeved t's usually reach my wrist, but this one was very very long! It was £7 I think and they had lots of colours.
M&S a fiver or less, keep their shape and wash well
i used to buy the tesco ones for £4 which are pretty good but after a yr the edges are going a bit funny so have bought more from M&S
