I think I've become a grown up...
Question:

I think I've become a grown up...
I think I have - at the advanced age of 33 - finally become a fashion grown up.
I'm on a limited budget, so I've been spending at Primarni and H&M, etc.
However, looking at my wardrobe, the pieces I *really* love are generally those that I paid more for - they look and feel better quality and in some cases I've had them for years but they've lasted so well.
I have decided to buy less, but to spend more on individual items, whilst having the occasional cheapo fashion fix
So, I am now thinking of transferring my main clothes shopping to Zara, Wallis, etc.
Cor blimey, I think I'm having a fashion epiphany... :faint:

AM that is sooo the way to think! at the end of the day, in the long run you will get what you pay for. but alas! i haven't been really able to do that...
i'm only 20 now but my shopping habits are being more throwaway! i actually used to spend more on individual items during my teens, these days i have complete outfits including shoes and outerwear for less than 40 quid!? ppl always ask me where i get stuff from and am amazed how i manage to pull a decent outfit together for peanuts but i would love to own better quality brands rather than primani!
although i do also believe i am becoming more grown up because everything i buy now i tend to wear whereas before i had tonnes of clothes that were still tagged!

lol i should start budgeting. i live with my parents and i don't have to pay board or contribute towards bills, which is GREAT, so all my income in disposable. however, i'm trying to save for a car, and it's not going so well!
