Question:
Does anyone else hate the sales?
Or is it just me?
I just think of them as being full of last years left overs, as for the Next sale - don't get me started !!
I'm desperate to get some last minute bits & pieces for my holidays but daren't venture into town for threat of being stampeded
:wasfield:
I tend to avoid them as much as I can, but am going to brave Glasgow tomorrow as I want a new telly and some bed linen but may be tempted into a few other shops to see if I can pick up some fashion bargains (I've not told Mr Dots this obviously...:D )
I risked my local town centre today and remembered exactly why I hate sales! I just can't cope with all the people and all the mess [yes, i am a drama queen :faint: ] and tbh didn't really see anything worth fighting all the kerazy bargin shoppers for!
I thought it was just me! I hate, hate, hate sales! :yuck:
I never seem to get bargains and its just always so packed, people are demented! There is NO way I would get up at 5am on Boxing Day to go to the Next sale, wild horses couldn't drag me there.
I need to go to the shops tomorrow as my friend's baby is 1 on Friday and I'll be seeing them on the day so I need a pressie. I should have gone today but I just couldn't face it, the shops are so busy and I just get annoyed. I plan to get up early tomorrow and be there at 9. I hate getting up early but I hate busy shops even more.
I hate the sales too. I hate the chaos and the mess. I don't have the patience to trawl through racks and racks of tatty looking clothes to find that one gem. I know I'm probably missing out, but I'd rather do sale shopping on line with a cup of tea and a piece of cake. So much more civilized!
