Question:
Quick: Christmas present for grandmother
Does anyone have any ideas for a Christmas present for my grandmother? Pref something I can order on internet and have sent directly as last posting day for UK is today I think and have left it until last min :cmdunno: I bought her audio books last year so that's out...
Was thinking some nice food/biscuits/cake, am about to go out and buy some nice French biscuits at the Epicerie de Paris and prob send them late, but if anyone has any good foodie/old lady present links in the next ten mins or so, would be appreciated!
maybe a little manicure set with a nail file, scissors etc?
On some of the gadgetty websites you can buy these little booty things you put in the microwave and they warm up! They are purely for sitting and laying in to keep your tootsies cozy, NOT walking in as it would be dangerous!
I would say a photo album with nice photos, but as you need to send it today its not really suitable.
Does she have any hobbies? Gardening, knitting etc? You can get magazine subscriptions for just about anything and can order online.
(Just realised that the fact you got her an audio book last year might mean her eyesights not great, so apologies if that's the case :o )
Thanks girls :D
Think she's had cataract operation this year Shiny, so that's not a bad idea actually... she makes cards, may have a look in craft shop round the corner on my way out... thanks for the push in the right direction!
Like the warm booties idea Nursie, they sound really cosyh!
Past Times have got some nice gifty things or Hotel Chocolat will deliver direct (their Dipping Adventure is amazing!), or these people have lots of foodie gifts, including a Cream Tea tray which is making me crave scones and jam :munch:
