I absolutely love this dress but do you think its a bit OTT for a house party? I was going to wear it with black boots but do not know whether I shouyld accessorize or not?

I don't think it is at all. New Years most people dress up anyway and thats dressy without being OTT in my opinion. Teamed with boots too will dress it down a bit.
