eBay - Silver shoes are gold...
  I received these shoes today that I got off eBay. They were described as silver and in the pictures looked silver so I didn't question it. As soon as I opened them though I could see that they're actually gold! I really like them and will probs keep them, as they were quite cheap, but I still need silver shoes! Should I ask the seller about them or just keep them and start the quest for silver shoes again?...

Definitely email the seller about it, if they were advertised as Silver BUT in fact they are Gold then the seller is in the wrong not you! It doesn’t matter how cheap they are.




If they are a power seller they may have got the items mixed up. I have recieved the wrong colour and style items from sellers who sell a lot of the similar things. Email the seller but make sure you dont end up on losing out by having to pay postage, it is their mistake, they should pay!




They look silver to me even in your photo!
Are they quite a pale gold? As Nursie said if they're selling a lot, maybe whoever packaged it up got them mixed up?




Thanks for replies. They are not a power seller and I looked at their other items at the time these were on and they didn't have any others. They are pale gold, but you can tell they are not silver and they don't go with the dress that I need silver shoes for!
I've emailed the seller so will see if it's been a genuine mistake or not! :)
