Question:
I've broken my camera!
Went to a party last night with my 'rents and was got ready at my Aunts house. Put my camera in my overnight bag and put a load of stuff on top of it and forgot all about it before coming home this morning.
I've just taken my cam out to take pics of the Primark stuff I bought yest and the screen's all funny :( :( :(
God knows how much that's gonna cost to fix. I wanna cry! I don't even know where to take it :( :( :(
Our camera has gone dud too  Light comes on but nothing works :boohoo:
Take it to somewhere like Jessops and they should be able to have a look for you but unless it was an expensive camera it's sometimes cheaper to buy a new one.
I'm gonna get a £50 jobbie eventually, you get get ones with decent MP for that price. Will get a good one next year when money is a bit better :)
I can "take pics", I can't see a thing on the screen though - gonna see if when I transfer them (by guessing what's come up on the screen) whether they show up.
I'll go to Jessops after work tomorrow. So annoyed and I still have a bloody headache from the friggin' speakers at the damn party!
It sounds like it needs a new screen....i'm sure my dad had to have that done on one of our old cameras and it was about £45 to fix.
I just rung Jessops and the guy said it'd be sent off to Olympus and the price they negotiated with them for screen repairs is £110!!!! Thats if it's somthing minor!!
He said it'd prob be better to go to an independant repair shop and see if they could do it cheaper.
See £45 is okay. I love my cam, i don't even wanna get a different one :(
