Do you still get really great Ebay bargains?
I remember when I first signed up to Ebay in Nov 2004 I got what you'd call REAL bargains.
Now a top that I'd have easily won for say, £6 will shut up to £30! It's so annoying!!
All this over-exposure of Ebay have made the auction price wins shoot up!
People are becoming more savvy on searching for things and it's annoying me!
There's a fab top I want but I really don't wanna pay the price it's at now and there's still under an hour to go! :mad:
TBH I feel the same way, and it p****s me off too...
I think it's due to newbies, with bidding wars, and just putting stupidly high maximum bids.
Plus when you take into account P+P loads of stuff (particularly beauty wise) goes for quite a lot over P+P.
Popular items 'of the moment' you've got no chance...if you're looking for a less popular item/something that's not from topshop etc you might have a bit more luck.
Having said that i have found the odd bargain.

That's good. I still get the occasional shoe bargain - my NL gold peeptoes were only £10.58 inc postage but I wasted £30 on a pair of Aldo boots that don't ****ing fit that are more like a 7 than an 8! :rolleyes: :mad:
Grrrr ...I still have that silly mentality where if I've been watching something for ages, then I just have to have it even if it's gone over what my max bid is :rolleyes:
Arrrgh I dunno what to do about this top/tunic. It's on £21 at the mo and I was hoping it wasn't gonna go over £10 :rolleyes:
I agree. Bids are getting ridiculously stupid but at least the sellers are happy!
I start to wonder if everyone has the same taste as each other because every item I have my eye on always gets hijacked by multiple bidders. Argh!!
