Question:
Very O/T but need help- Train tickets
I am trying to book tickets from Paddington to Swansea (to see my dad) for a weekend in December and I'm being quoted £126 each return online! This cannot be the best I can get- anyone got any ideas?
Sometimes if you book 2 one way tickets its cheaper Lucy.
Otherwise is there any saver things you could add like a young persons railcard perhaps?

Aww thanks, I tried singles though and that is at least £40 each, each way. I've paid only £26 each return before.
Am too old for a young person's railcard :)
Did you get that price with www.thetrainline.co.uk ? You usually get deals with some lines such as virgin if you book over 2 weeks in advance.
Yeah, it was that website. I might try the firstgreatwestern.com one, but it might be just as hopeless....
