Slouch boot anger
Question:

Slouch boot anger
Right. I thought I'd get a pair of flat black leather slouchy boots, so I got a decent pair from TS in soft leather which I adore. Now, however, I find that every single chav teenager in my entire town has got a similar pleather pair, teamed with tighter-than-tight jeans, too much eyeliner and a horrific attitude. Last week on the bus two of these specimens (both carrying terrible versions of fake Paddingtons as well) were sitting in front of me and Mr Lucy on the bus, kept turning round, sniggering, and then threatened to 'smack our faces' in for looking at them. Class.
Anyway, has anyone else been narked by this slouch-boot chavdom or is it just happening round these parts?

Answers:

That sucks. But sadly it was gonna happen sooner or later. I haven't really noticed it here, but here is a uni city packed with students and I avoid the chavier, as it were, parts of town.
Two girls on the bus sounds tres classy indeed

God I hate intimidating teenagers. They just know that you can't touch them. A gang of them walked past me the other day while I sending a text and one shouted 'Look at her thinking she is ****ing cool, texting with one hand' which amused me greatly until her mate shouted 'What the **** are you laughing at, I'll ram that phone down your throat' etc etc.
I mean, its not like I am scared, I would like nothing better than to pick one up and use a brick wall to grate its facial features off but you can't give kids a crack these days. You have to let them beat you up. Disgraceful.

PMSL  You sound like me driving - 'Well if they walk in front of me, why should I stop??' Why the hell shouldn't you be able to smack them one?! It's disgraceful.
It is annoying though, luckily in Cambridge we don't have so many chavs (apart from where I live  ), it's just toffy annoying students who think they own the place
*Students, please don't flame me, I was one and all my mates are students - it's just the Cambridge Uni ones. Honest.* ;)

 Love your turn of phrase there!
I refuse to be intimidated by these little shits. I was a teeneager once, and a woman now: So I'm bigger and badder than they could ever be. Let them try... :lipper:
Anway, this always happens with trends, doesn't it. You love something and wear it a cool way, then the scrubs get hold of it and bastardise it to death.
