Question:
(very O/T) eye infection...
Hey all I know this is very O/T but i feel so crappy cos Ive got an eye infection from wearing my lenses too long :(
ive got to go to the eye hospital at old street london for anitbiotics and im so worried
plus i have no glasses.....grrrr....and the opitician made me remove my lenses and not allow me to wear them anymore which means i had to go home not bein able to see a thing! (im so close to the screen writing this right now)
he told me to go to the eye hospital but i told him ive got no one around to take me as im at uni so i have to wait til my bf finsishes work to take me........
he didnt mention the pharmacy closes at 6pm (had to find this out myself!) so i cant get my antibiotics til tmrow........
and he was so rude....didnt even offer for me to order sum glasses while i was instore and cud see how upset i was (im at a new town with hardly any eyesight) :boohoo: grrrr.....i need to find sumwhere to order glasses from now...........
not too expensive and quickly ordered? can anyone recommend sum good opticians.......ahhhh what a day
:(
(also posted in health btw)
I don't have an answer to your question, sorry, but just wanted to say  that's awful! I hope you get it sorted soon :(
oh poor you:(
you can get basic glasses for a reasonable range of myopia at Boots and also over the counter anti-biotic eye drops. When I had a bit of an infection from my lenses my optician let me wear daily disposables for a week (and gave them to me for free). he is a London optician so if you pm me I will give you the details
awww thankuu......dont rly know y i asked abt opticians i mean i know which ones r about.......just so annoyed at my own one!!grrr
i hope it gets better soon too....my eyes killin like hell but im still stuck in front of the comp keepin up with my daily dose of here :o :)
:higgies:
Most highstreet opticians, e.g. Specsavers, Vision Express, have a one-hour service for glazing frames.
