Question:
eBay help pleeeeaseeee
I really need some advice and would appreciate any replies :)
I won 2 pairs of frames (for prescription lenses to go in) off eBay on the 8th of Sept.
Paid the seller by Paypal about a week later as he was on holiday and couldn't give me the exact details concerning combined postage. Once I paid him he sent me a message saying that he will be sending my purchase in the next few days. I waited a week and emailed him again. He replied telling me that he still needs more time to get through all the orders, but he guarenteed i'd receive the item or if i wanted i could get a refund. I emailed back saying that i still wanted the frames and don't mind waiting a bit longer.
I noticed yesterday that he is 'no longer a registered user' :mad: I emailed him and told him that I am aware of this and hope that I will still be receiving my purchase. I asked him to reply to confirm this but he has not done so as yet.
What shall I do? Is it too late to begin a dispute with ebay/paypal?

Even if he is not registered on ebay you can still take it up with paypal :) It's not too late - they reccomend that you wait 45 days before filing a claim I think.
