Boots for slender calves
Hi all, hoping someone can give us some advice. I went shopping with a friend last week and she has incredibly slender calves. She wanted a pair of suede boots (mid calf or higher), and she tried on almost all the suede boots in the high street. They all looked like wellies on her - a good inch or so too big. In the end she got some mid-calf ones from TKMaxx which were the best of what we could find, but they still are about half an inch too big. She tried the stretchy ones made of fabric too, which were still too big on her and looked even worse than the suede.
Any tips? Are there places that will make to measure, or anywhere that specialises in "skinny" boots? Given her desperation, money and location aren't too much of an issue!

I have slender calves too (32cm), I have ordered from Duo of Bath before and can recommend them, although some styles were a little large around the ankle. I got my last pair of boots from Asda, they have adjustable buckets and you can kind of fold a flap of material over, so they fit. They look great. Also Aldo have some styles in a slimmer than usual fitting.
