Question:
leather jacket - keep or return..

I bought this leather jacket today. It is a perfect fit for me and really shows off my figure, the leather is beautiful, but it is so expensive (£179).
I am having second thoughts about whether I should return it because of the price, I'm wondering how much wear I will get out of it and I'm not sure how quickly it will date.
Any thoughts?

I don't really see this dating as it's a style that has been around for years and is still going strong. I think a good leather jacket is worth investing in and it's hard to find the perfect style and fit I feel. It's also a jacket you could wear now during the autumn before the winter chill kicks in, and also during spring when it's too warm to wear a coat but too cold to go without.
From the sounds of things, the jacket is very flattering on you. So I would keep :)

Usually I would think for weeks beforehand about making a biggish purchase like that, but my sensible head disappeared when two different M&S assistants commented on how nice it looked on me :rolleyes: :)
I don't think it would really date either, it's a lovely classic style. All the baggers who have leather jackets seem to get a lot of wear out of them. You should post a piccie of you wearing it, then we could decide properly ;)
