Dyeing shoes
I have some hush puppies mary janes that I bought in camel, but the colour's quite tricky to wear, I think they might be quite frumpy in that colour, but thought they'd be useful at the time. I was thinking of dying them plum, like these

and wondered if it would work, given that the shoe is quite a pale colour?
It might be worth asking about this in a bridal shop - we have one near us that does loads of colouring shoes for weddings and to match outfits for the races etc.
