Question:
30th birthday outfit
It's my birthday at the end of the month and Mr Fruit is taking me out. I want to buy something new but not spend too much. I bought in Primark today a shorty black swing coat for £12 so I'd like to team that up with something. Any suggestions?
I seem to have lost my mojo for putting an outfit togther recently.

We need so much more information, like what height, approx size you are, colouring, style, where you are going etc etc etc!
Opps sorry!!
Right:
Appearance
I'm 5ft 6 and a size twelve, classic pear shape, I've got a good pair of legs (except biggish thighs) and a small chest. I'm blonde with hazel eyes and palish skin. As a rule bright, clear colours tend to suit me.
Style wise, I tend to be quite feminine although recently I just seem to be in jeans and boring t-shirts all the time (as I said I've lost my mojo).
Place:
He is taking me out to a very nice local restaurant so cannot get away with jeans. Would like to wear a skirt or dress for a change.
Total to spend: At the most £50.
Suddenly I seem to have very little 'going out' clothes and I can't seem to put anything together. Went out recently and felt a total frump. It doesn't help that I haven't had money to spend on stuff either. I've got clothes that I could probably team with something new. i have a black patterned silky short dress, gold sleeveless top from Principles that is quite flattering and oh other bits and pieces.
Please help girls!!

what about going back to primark and buying one of those brocade dresses, you could wear with leggings and 'slams' (high heels) very basic but nice.
Or a pencil skirt, or a wrap dress.
New look do nice dresses for quite cheap :)
I was thinking of a pencil skirt. I'm a bit nervous of wrap dresses as they can make my non-existent chest look even flatter;)
