Question:
knee high boots for the shorter person
does anyone here with a shorter than normal leg measurement have any good recommendations for knee high boots?
i want to be able to wear them over jeans or with dresses and the bots i tried on at the weeke nd all came right on my knee
i 'need' a brown pair and a black pair would be nice but i dont want to spend buckets unless they are the perfect height then i woud be willing to pay £70
I'm long legged and have the opposite problem but maybe a rouched pair that you can push down to the right length?
Or you can have a cobbler alter them for you.
if you go on a boot-buying trip, you'll see that the length of knee highs varies hugely - even in the same shop, and so you should be able to find shorter ones pretty easily.
I tend to go for vintage stlye boots which rouche down, as Blonde suggests. Otherwise, perhaps slightly longer calf length boots could be an option?
i used to wear calf boots but as i have put on a bit of lard they dont fit properly and are too tight as the calf bit starts too high IYSWIM
didnt think of a cobblers alterting them!?
dammit looks like i will be trekking round trying boots on again!
still havent even found any skinny jeans that are actually skinny on me either which is making me think its all fate!
