Ideas for this top
I bought this top the other day and want to keep it but can't find anything to wear with it that looks nice.
I've tried a couple of things on my style diary- city shorts and a knee length skirt but neither seems right, and my skinny jeans are too dark.
Maybe I should buy some short shorts, or get some black footless tights to wear with it.
Just need some suggestions really, or i'll have to take it back!

ooo i like! i tried it on too but its looked like cack, the elastic waist just made sure that my hips looked as wide as a car....anyyyyyways you look fab in it! a black pencil skirt maybe? quite difficult to make an outfit more colourful with the whole monochrome thing...mmm ill have a think

I really like it with the city shorts, not so sure with the skirt. Think it would look nice with a shorter dark denim skirt for a night out too - but the first thing I'd go for would probably be skinny jeans. Why doesn't it look right with your skinnies?
Is the ribbon detachable? You could get some lengths of wide satin ribbon from a haberdashers or market stall too, and change the ribbons arond sometimes too, when you feel like a change - I think a turquoise ribbon would look gorgeous, then you could wear it with indigo skinnies or a dark denim mini, and add some turquoise accessories! Or maybe yellow?
its Topshop Glitter, and yeh the ribbon is removable!
Thanks Nina Marie and GJ :) A pencil or short skirt would be a good idea, and I never would have thought of changing the ribbon but I could do that.
This is it with skinny jeans. I like the style of the top but i think the problem is that the colour can look a bit dull on me. The ribbon idea might work tho!
