I want a really cute shift dress!!
  Hi dudes and dudettes,
I know shift dress threads are probably everywhere (and I have searched) but I would like to be more specific on my thread.
I really want a little black shift dress, just a basic one which is quite cutesy if you get me.
I've had a few looks on some websites but can't quite find what I'm looking for.
Has anyone got any ideas? I'm wanting to wear it with a poloneck and boots, or with tights and cute pumps.
Anyone any ideas?? Pics appreciated also xxx




Oasis have this . It's the simplest and plainest black shift dress I've seen, is well-cut and it dresses up or down beautifully.
However, from your description I think you might want something a bit shorter. In that case, I'd try this at Warehouse. I also saw some in Primark.

New Look have some capped sleeved ones with a (removable) belt. I have it in Black but is is also available in grey. :)




i bought a fab cream/gold brocade mini shift dress from primark yesterday. i :heart: it, it fits beautifully and is nice and short so great teamed with opaques and ankle boots.
i think theres a pic in an older thread somewhere.
it's only a tenner and its gorge.




M&S have a cute one that Elizabeth Jagger wears in one of the ads. If this works:
