Question:
Jumper veins
Right, this happens to me all the time, When I wash a fine knit jumper and dry it I get 'veins' all over it in a slightly darker colour than the jumper. It's like it's running and drying more concentrated in the creases in the washing machine / or when it's hung up. My mate says I'm drying them wrong, but I just put them over the horse or the radiator. How do I stop it?
Does this make any sense?
maybe it's your washing powder? or maybe you could handwash rather than use the machine.
Have you tried hanging the garments on padded hangers?
Have you tried hanging the garments on padded hangers?
I'll try this, sounds good.
I doubt it would be washing powder, I'm a complete washing whore and never stay true to one kind for very long.
coolio.
The same happens to my jumpers Dewy, in particular it's the fine knit ones from Warehouse. Actually puts me off wearing them! I'm not sure it's how you dry them but I honestly don't know what causes it, maybe it's fabric conditioner.
