Shoe boxes
Where's the best place to be really cheeky and ask for any surplus shoe boxes?
I did it in TS the other day and they had oodles behind the counter which they happily sacrificed. However, the smaller TS elsewhere turned their nose up at me, they must have been warned!
It's not as if I'm not recycling, snobby bitches. :lol:

Oh and I asked a TS SA if I could keep the hangers (I'm out of hangers :o and have been looking for some decent cedar ones for ages now) for the three dresses I bought last week. She said "Oh, of course" except that I got home and realised she gave me one :rolleyes:
If you're not fussy about the sort of shoebox then how about a sports shop or footlocker? I would have thought there would be loads of people eager to wear their cool new trainers straight away....
We (the arts group I work for) get ours from a cheapie shoe shop - they gave us a huge huge box full the other day. You could always cover them with fancy paper/wrapping paper if you don't want labels all over them.
