I've never worn shift dresses before, so im not sure what you're supposed to wear under it. My friend says a long-sleeved top or something, is that right? Also, should the top's neckline be higher than the actual dress neckline? Sorry for sounding really stupid, im just a bit scared of getting it wrong really :o

As long as it's not too revealing of your bust, I wouldn't wear anything underneath it, just maybe a cardi over the top for warmth reasons in the autumn
ETA: I think some people do like to wear roll-neck jumpers under them though, and if you like the look then try that too, it's just my style

Oh I luuuuuuuurve that dress!!
That's exaclty what I'm looking for! But £55 is a bit much for me :(
need to look for a cheaper alternative...anyone see any??
Twiglet - I've seen that dress (one exactly like it...some designer) in a mag and the model was wearing a white shirt underneath...and it looked great. I might wear a short sleeved shirt to avoid looking like a school girl maybe. Also could wear with a black polo neck. Wear black opaques and I think it'll look cool;)

Thanks for the advice! I'll try it both ways - without anything underneath, and with a white shirt - and see which looks best. And then hopefully muster up enough courage to actually wear it outside!

Oooh that's such a gorgeous dress! :throb:
I'd leave it as it is with just opaques and a cardi, but i like the idea of a poloneck. i must get one :uzzle:
