Is this suitable for office wear???
  I have just started working for a recruitment agency and the dress code is smart business attire. This is my first week Im running out of suits (ive got 4)and had thought about wearing my new black cigarette trousers from GAP with a white long sleeved shirt but the only shoes I have that will go are my black primark slams. Do you think this is a suitable outfit for this type of office? I was going to wear a black jacket over the shirt too. There was a memo sent round.. telling everyone to dress smartly as "they are not going to the dancing!!" This has got me thinking!




i would wear that outfit, it sounds smart but stylish so why not? the worst they can do is say 'don't wear that again'. Others will know more than me though.. :)




I think that outfit sounds totally fine. You wouldn't go dancing in it would you? ;)




I'd wear it. I have to dress reasonably smart for work but today I wore city shorts - nobody batted an eyelid. Sounds like a very smart outfit to me




Thanks girls... I wouldnt dream of wearing it out.. It was just the shoes I was worried about because of the wooden platform but to hell with it.. its Friday tomorrow... nearly the weekend!! :p
