Okay, 24 hours later than last week - it's the weekend thread!!
My weekend is starting on Thursday this week. Can hardly believe it, but I've got two guest list places for the Strokes' Street Gig at the National History Museum on thursday evening :yay: . Stupidly excited and so's Lizzie who's coming along with me!! Given current weather think I'm going to wear dark grey Sass and Bide misfits tucked into black suede ankle boots with some kind of drapey vest / tshirt and lots of gold chains.
Then it's a very early start Friday morning for our flight to Belgrade for ExitFest. Note to self - DO NOT over indulge and over sleep
:rolleyes: . Apparently it's going to be 35 degrees this weekend :eek: and full on sunshine so I am thanking god and Lizzie that we're staying in a hotel rather than a tent. Haven't given my packing much thought, but think I'll be living in denim cut offs, zebra print hotpants, mini dresses, vintage boots, various vest tops, straw trilby and huge sunnies. Given the heat I think staying rather than looking cool will be the most important consideration :lol: . Also have to pack for next week's filming block in Manchester so expect won't be able to do just hand luggage!
So what's everyone up to and what are you going to be wearing?

How jealous am I about the Strokes!!!
Outfits sound fab lady. Tomorrow night I am out with Mr Nighty's sister, just for dinner, no idea what to wear as god knows what the weather will be like tomorrow! Nothing amazing as only going to the local italian.
Friday night im meeting my bessie mate for after work drinks over at Canary Wharf, think ill probably wear my new lemon and white fine knit dress with some chunky beads and white gladiator sandals. The hair is the problem - its so long and thick its a nightmare keeping cool in this heat!
Saturday im not sure yet although Waitrose will factor into it somewhere along the line. Sunday the parents are coming to visit. We'll probably go for lunch somewhere so I am inclined to wear my chocolate and lime green linen sundress from Monsoon (courtesy of returning the dress I bought for the wedding) and brown leather flipflops from Gap.

I am at (suprise suprise) a wedding on Saturday. I have to drive all the way to Haverfordwest in Wales on my lonesome as Mr Shiny isn't coming until the evening cos he has his little boy for the day.
For travelling I will be wearing gauchos, vest top, lots of sunscreen and my gold towelling sun visor to keep my hair back. Apparently I look like someone out of Debbie Does Dallas in it, but I don't care. It means I can have the roof down on the car and still see the road :)
As the weather is going to be poo in Wales I'm adapting my wedding outfit as per my earlier thread to include linen trousers, plain black top, pashmina and fascintor. Though I may be a little bit naughty and purchase a new black top as I can't wear my pretty skirt anymore :think:
Sunday will be spent having a big fat hotel breakfast, then driving back slowly with lots of bottles of water and Nurofen before crashing out in front of the tv for a curry and quite probably some sofa-sleeping :sleep:
But before then I have to drive from the Midlands to Ashford, back again, then to Milton Keynes and back again for two meetings.
Oooh why can't it be Friday now :(

I have a relatively quiet weekend planned to be honest.
Friday night – travel down to my OH’s, quiet night in, watch Big Brother, probably go to bed pretty early.
Saturday – pop into town and have a mooch around the shops, might treat myself to some new make up from Boots, fancy buying some new clothes but can’t really afford to.
Saturday evening my OH is DJing at a rave in Bedford, so will be getting ready for that. Think I am probably going to wear black trousers and a black top of some description and my trainers.
Sunday – hopefully go to car boot to see what bargains can be had, listen to my friends radio show on the net, possibly go out for lunch or cook a nice roast for my OH and his bro. Come home mid evening.
