I have an initial interview with an agency tomorrow - they want me to fill in some forms and just get to know me....any tips from anyone with experience in this on what i should do/take/wear?
Was thinking of wearing black suit, brown/cream stripe shirt, black shoes and bag, and my hair up in a bulldog clip as it desperatly needs cutting :o

I used to work for an agency and it's nothing to worry about at all. Basically the need to understand the job that you are looking for and which of their clients you will be suitable for. When you work for an agency every candidate you send to your clients is representing you and the agency so they need to 'check you out' beforehand and see if they need to do any work on your presentation, interview skills etc.
A lot of people used to come in wearing jeans etc but it always impressed us when somebody had made an effort. It also allows the agency to see how you would present yourself for an interview with one of their clients which will give them added confidence in you.
Take a copy of your CV, even if they have one already and you might need passport, bank details and the contact details for your references if you're going to be temping, but they should have told you in advance if that's the case.
Other than that- just go and be yourself and good luck!

Can I hijack?
I've just found out I have an interview at an agency tomorrow too and was about to post asking what to wear.
I don't have much smart stuff- have black trousers and a shirt but its too hot for that. I was thinking of wearing something fairly casual like cropped trousers or a knee length skirt.
Would this be ok or do I need to raid my wardrobe to find something better ? Might do some pictures later.

I had an agency interview this morning, and wore a summer skirt, vest-top, and one of those tie-up short cardi things (brilliant description  ). I also wore flip-flops.
I have had loads of agency interviews, and it doesn't matter what you wear - just make sure you are neat and tidy so they can see that you are presentable ;)
