Shopping in London
Question:

Shopping in London
  Hi everyone:wave:
Haven't been able to post much for a while as last week I was on holiday and this week I started traning for my job, in various parts of the country. Anyway, I'll wind up in London as part of my course at the end of this week so I'm going to stay an extra night and go shopping in London on Saturday
I haven't actually been to London since I was 14 so I have no idea where the best places to go are - can you help me? I won't have tonnes of money (student debt) so not really after the designer areas. I'll be staying near St Pauls Cathedral/Tower Bridge - East basically. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
G xx

Try and get the tube over to Oxford Street for the huge topshop and all the good high street shops. Sloane Square/Knightsbridge for Harrods and all the big designer names and Harvey Nicks

Sorry to be dim - will that be the Oxford Circus tube stop?

Answers:

That's Oxford Circus on the tube :) it's on the central line and I believe it's only about 4 stops along from St Paul's tube so shouldn't take you long at all!
I definitely reccommend getting the tube over there and getting yourself into Topshop there, it's their flagship store and it is huge!! :D
You've got all the high street stores along Oxford Street and Regent Street (runs perpendicular to Oxford Street) and you've got the department stores like House of Fraser, John Lewis and Selfridges (which, coincidently has a lurvely Moet bar in it!! :o )
