Question:
Flat grey boots - what do you think? (pics)
Hey girls
I haven't bought anything for aaages... my shopping mojo has deserted me at the moment! BUT the other day I was in Barratts and saw these flat grey calf-length boots, with a buckle on the side, and I keep finding myself thinking about them... I have brown boots, red boots and black boots, but no grey boots! My wardrobe needs them! Here's a fairly rubbish pic off the website, I thought they looked nicer than this IRL.
Do you like them? Has anyone got any outfit ideas for them?
The thing that is putting me off though, is that they aren't leather :( I don't really like non-leather boots, and I resent paying £40 for plastic! SO has anyone seen anything similar, in leather?
Cheers my dears! :thanks:

Purely style wise, I'm not keen on the heel. I find those type of heels wear down really quickly and badly, although that might just be the way I walk.
How much are you willing to spend? Have you had a look in Office and Schuh, or even ebay for vintage?

Hmm, I never thought of that about the heel, you're probably right :( I've just got it into my head now that I *need* some grey boots! And I do really like the style of those... if only they were leather, and totally flat as opposed to that daft little heel... whats the point of it?!
I did try Ebay as I've bought vintage leather boots from there before and been really happy with them, but there doesn't seem to be any grey ones in my size :( Not near a Schuh or Office at the moment, but I'll have to have a look when I go back to uni!
Thanks Casa :)
Hi Glitterjunkie, I like the style, but would be put off a bit by the fact that theyre not leather, I dont know why but i just think shoes are better off when theyre real leather for some reason
I have seen some similar to that on the Shellys website, I think they were leather and they were £65 - not sure what sizes they had left though.
