Question:
Fondest fashion memory?!
Just wondering what fashion moments stick in your mind! For me, it was the 80s and my mum owned some electric blue stilettoes! She used to let me play dress up in them, and I would stagger around the house in them! Whenever she went out for the night I'd look forward to the minute she would arrive in the living room, wearing these shoes. Unfortunately with a matching blue dress, jacket AND hat. It was a bit electric blue overload!
Anyway, when I saw these babies
in DP for a bargainous £5 :D I couldn't resist. Bought them, took them home and had a good old reminisce (sp?) with my mum!
I'm always trying to get back to my dressing up as a little girl too, but in my case through trying to look 'princessy'. It's hard to do without looking ridiculous so I don't bother very often but I have a floaty knee-length green skirt with glitter through it, which I call my princess skirt, and brown ballerinas with sparkles on them which are my Cinderella shoes. :)
Also love anything that reminds me of ballet and there's a lot of stuff in the shops like that atm.

They are nice but sadly they are falling apart now :boohoo: Got them from topshop about a year and a half ago so can't even get another pair the same :(
Mine is tad embarasing......
when i was little my mum brought me from a charity shop a green stripey dress, which had a big puffy skirt part and pinefore type top part. I loved it and use to play dress up when ever i could just so i could wear it! I even wore it to school in fancie dress as little bo peep once :o . Sadly as with any children's clothes i grow out of it and my mum gave it to a chairty shop...... I hope another little girl had fun with it pretending to be little bo peep!
like i said embarassing, i wouldnt be seen dead it in now but back then i thought it was great!! :rolleyes:
