Question:
Shopping in Bolton?
Does anyone live near Bolton?
Ive just moved there & I think there may be a Primark somewhere but not ventured into the town centre yet. I was going to go this weekend.
Any good clothes shops anyone can recommend? Need to get my winter wardrobe sorted.

I'm just about to move to the South West, but I'm born and bread in Bolton!
There is indeed a Primark in the Compton Place. Although, to be honest, I haven't found much there - it's quite small and disorganised.
As for other shops, there are most of the usual high street stores and the town centre is quite compact, so you should be able to find things quite easily. If you're looking for more variety or 'different' things, I'd try the Trafford Centre/Manchester though. Hope that helps a bit - if you have any other queries, just ask!
Have fun

Ooops - ignore that suggestion then!
I'm sure you'll settle in soon. It's always hard moving somewhere new I think, but it's not that bad 'up there' :) :p
Hope it all works out for you

Bolton has a few decent shops in the town centre, Primark is ok I guess. I like to go to the Lowry Centre which is at Salford Quays (it is a discount outlet). Ok for 1/2 a day or so, as it is not too large.
