Question:
Graduation dress zip dilemma!
Hi everyone,
So I've just been invited to my friends graduation ball last minute ( I too should have been graduating this year but unfortunately I failed my 2nd yr :( )
Anyway- its only 2 weeks away, so i panicked a bit and tried hunting for a dress yesterday with no luck.. cant really afford £100 on a dress I'll probably never wear again..
So today, I went to a hire shop and tried this lovely dress on..however.. its a bit on the small side on the top half, and the zip at the back wont do up by about 6cm, which is gutting, because I like it so much.
My mum suggested buying a prom shawl thing that hangs on your arms, which will go round the back and cover it.. but I dont really fancy that, i think it'll bug me, and the more merrier I get on the night, the more likely I am to just take it off, exposing this zip disaster.
So really I need idea's to solve this problem?? It's not really possible to lose that much weight in 2 weeks that the zip will do up now, is it?
Any help appreciated!

I don't have any experience hiring clothes myself, so not sure how helpful I'll be, but is it possible to ask them to make an alteration?
You might loose weight but who says it will come off your back etc.
6cm is quite a bit that wont zip up, I think it's probably a good idea you ask for an alteration or find an alternative.
