Question:
Shoe stretching!!!
Hi everyone :)
I need a few pairs of shoes stretched as they are a bit tight and was wondering if the shoes repair places like Timpsons etc have that machine that does this? I only know of this contraption cos when I was shoe shopping in india, most of the shops had one :o)
I know you can buy those wooden ones but I wanted to know if I can get it done elsewhere before I buy one...
I live in Middlesex...about 5 mins away from heathrow airport so anyone that knows of any places near me would be great :D If not then anywhere in London that I can get to on the tube will be helpful too :great:
Thanks :thanks:
just bumping :innocent:
if they are very small, don't bother - return the shoes as it will really mess up your feet.
If they are only a bit too small, get yourself some spray shoe stretcher from a cobblers, spray that on and stomp round in some ski socks - that usually does the trick
Thanks Ohara :)...they are only a little tight...
Oh and this shoe stretcher spray stuff...does it work if the shoes arent leather?
:cmdunno: not sure if it will if its not leather..
be careful if its synethic material, as these tend to rub more - personally I'd size up and get insteps/heel grips..
