Question:
Hats!
OK, who's going to be wearing hats this A/W? I need some inspiration! I've bought a baker boy hat and a beret, and still feel a bit of a fud wearing them. How will you be wearing yours? :p
I bought 3 berets from primark (black, red and ivory - £3 each) the other day and a cute baker boy hat (grey sort of check with pink in it - £2)
I also have a black wool baker boy hat and a plum coloured baker boy hat and a black angora trilby from last year which I will be wearing again. :D
As for how I'd wear them...hmmmm...I really don't know! Wow, great lot of help I am  What I did last year was put my oufit on and then think...hmmm would this look good with a hat? And if I thought so, then I'd wear one :D
Sorry if this doen't help :o
No, it does! I just need reassurance that other people actually wear them - I always feel they're a bit big 'n' poofy on my head. It's like anything fashiony, I suppose - I just have to get used to it, be brave and work it to suit me!
I used to waer loads of hats in my "indie" days but got a bit boring on becoming a mum. Am now determined to be braver, so have bought a grey angora-ish baker boy hat, which even my fussy daughter and even fussier partner say looks good, so I plan to wear it with my grey coat and grey cobwebby look scarf.
If I feel okay with that I'd also like to get a grey felt hat - maybe trilby style, but haven't seen one and have no idea if it would suit me - so will have to wait and see!
Maybe we should all just try and be a bit braver and wear what we like!!!!!
Love hats. Watching a red angora beret on ebay. Think they're still quite individual too, not everyone wears them.
Wear your hat with pride :great:
