Question:
Ebay help pleeeeeeeaassssssse!
Does anyone know if it is 'OK' to make an offer to an ebay seller via the 'ask seller a question' thingy??
I went into New Look today and saw the silk tea dress in the black and not-so-floral version. I tried it on for a laugh cos I knew how everyone on here was going mad for the blue one last week, and I thought it would'nt look nice on me cos of my 38DD's...but it looked fab!! (If I do say so myself :o ) Now I'm obsessed like everyone else...and I want the blue one because I think it'll suit my colouring better.
A couple of sellers are selling them in a size 16 (I'm a 14 usually but these seem to have come up small).
So yeah...can I make them an offer like that?? Or is it forbidden?
You can try yes, some sellers will go for it. I get buyers asking me that all the time!
You can try.
tbh, it gets on my nerves when people try to make an offer if I'm selling.
Also you're not protected by ebay unless they relist it with a buy it now offer. And someone on here (igotishues) had terrible trouble with a ebay seller when she tried that. Do a search for the thread.
You can do it but you won't be covered by paypal or ebay if anything goes t*ts up.
Go for it! Just make sure the seller puts a buy it now and you purchase it via ebay so you are protected (if she accepts of course) :)
