Question:
How much do you spend on magazines a month?
I'm just reviewing my spending this month and I've noticed I spend a lot!
I subscribe to InStyle and Easy Living but also buy Vogue every month and Red, Eve, Glamour and Happy if they have a gift or special offer etc. I would say I spend about £15 on mags every month.:o
I just get company every month (subscribed) and sometimes another one each month.
I stopped myself a while back otherwise you can spend a small fortune on them :cmdunno:
I used to buy tons before I added up the cost and kept getting annoyed with how they all seemed to be so out of date by the time they got to the shelves, so now I just subscribe to Elle
This is probably going be like blasphemy on a fashion forum, but generally I don't buy any womens magazines. :o
I obviously do quite looking at the pretty pictures of clothes, but alot of the articles I just find boring, patronising or repetitive - at 31, I feel I've read most of them before or I'm not really interested in what they seem to think women should be interested in. I occassionally buy InStyle if I have a long train journey, but the only magazine I regularly buy is Sight & Sound and I'm a big fan of the magazines that come with newspapers (Guardian, Sunday Times etc).
I currently have subscriptions to Elle and Company and usually buy glamour each month, I am also a regular Grazia reader and sometimes get a gossipy mag such as heat .... magazines are another big obsession of mine but I have really tried to cut down as I was spending a fortune on them!!!
