how to undo chloe paddington
Hellooo there! I'm considering buying a chloé paddington bag (off ebay of course...can't afford the £799 price tag). I don't care if I get a fake, because I'm not interested in the fact that it's chloé, I'm not after a label-I just adore the style of the bag! Anyways..how the heck do you undo the bag though to get inside? Is the padlock for show, or do you have to actually unlock it with the key on a thread to get inside? It's just I can't see me somehow standing in a queue in Tesco fiddling about with a padlock and key to get out my purse, and want to make sure I know the facts before I buy my bag. I had a copy and (thanks to my lovely fiance) a real chloe now. They both undid the same.
The zip ends attach to a 'U' shaped piece of metal and the padlock then hooks through the 'U' and locks. To undo it you unlock the padlock with the key, take it off and then take the zip parts off the 'U' bit and undo :)
I just keep the zip ends loose though cause i can't be bothered with all that faff everytime i need to get in my bag :p
