Question:
How can it be...
...that I am a size 8 in jeans, a size 8 in a skirt but a size 12 in a denim skirt????
Doesn't make sense
are they all from the same shop? Sizes do vary shop to shop.
What shop is the denim skirt in?!
Probably the same reason that I've got a pair of size 8 suit trousers from Next which are a little big on me, and a size 10 skirt to go with the same suit jacket which is a bit tight, i.e. sheer randomness. I've got clothes in my wardrobe which range from size 6 to size 14.
It's supposedly partly to do with the fact that many shops source their garments from many different suppliers and manufacturers, so fits will vary quite a bit within the same shop. Places like Zara are apparently much more consistent with fits because they source their clothes from a relatively small number of suppliers.
g_k
Nope, lots of different shops including Allders, Bay, TK Maxx and Krisp.
I bought 3 non-denim skirts in River Island last week, all size 8.
I really don't understand??
