Question:
Ebay Argggh
Ive just tried to bid for a belt on Ebay and put in my user details and password which I have written down so I nkow there right.
And it wouldn't let me log in so I went to confirm password and put in my postcode and my home number and it was saying they were wrong FFS I have lived there for 3 years i know what they are.
Anyway remembered the question put that in and it was right. so they said they would email to change my password. they haven't so I decided to re register and guess what it has all happened all over again.
So Ive now given up and need to find a wide brown leather belt for an outfit for Vfestival next week can't find any in the shops as they're all about £30 or above and don't really want to pay that for one. I don't mind if its not real leather
So any ideas ladies. or what i can do about my ebay account as i really don't want to lose all my goodfeedback.
I'd contact ebay, your account may have been hacked into.
My OH has had it previously, checked his emails and someone was trying to sell a car
Oh actually now you mention it I did ages ago get emails from them saying somehting like that but just ignored them as I was not using it. I also thought they were scams anything like htat from my bank I ignore (only cos my bank don't have my email address i'd like to point out.
Hmm will try and contact them but then why when i re registered did it do the same thing.
Any ideas on a belt though. Might have to stump up the £30 or so for the ones i have seen.
Nooo ignore any emails they send to you saying that, that is a scam.
If you are having trouble accessing your account though contact ebay directly as they may have hacked into your account and changed the details.
Could a friend bid on an ebay belt for you?
