Question:
Is velvet coming back for A/W??
Hi all...
Last year I bought loads of velvet things (jackets, skirts etc) and I still really love them but will I be able to wear them this year too? Please tell me its coming back...

No idea but if you love them then you should wear them :)
I think it is; there's a trend this season for 'opulence' as they call it - lux fabrics in rich colours, with lots of embellishment.
But quite honestly, who gives a stuff what 'fashion' dictates. If you like something, wear it with pride :D I love velvet and am not going to stop wearing it if it goes 'out'. I don't think it really ever will though; velvet for me has something approaching classic status for a/w and it usually appears in some form in the a/w collections.
