Shopping in Nice...
Finally booked a week in Nice for me and Mr K at the end of August :yay: The hotel we wanted was only available for 6 rather than 7 nights so I'm thinking the money we're saving could be spent elsewhere! So what are the shops/ markets like in and around Nice? Any recomendations for nice restaurants/ things to do would be very welcome too...
I can't remember much about the shopping apart from crafty and touristy places around the old town.
This little restaurant was lovely www.le-tire-bouchon.com although the pictures on the website really don't do it justice.

i was in NICE in january and we travel by train to cannes, monaco and monte carlo. we have our lunch at "The Blue Beach" on the seaside.. is the restaurant on the beach opposite the negresco. Can see picture of my trip to those place in my wedding website at www.rtwedding.co.uk. Go to Honeymoon Photos and select Nice 06 from the drop down box.

there is another nice restaurant which we have the most wonderful lunch.

go up the castle hill with the fort before sunset and watch the sunset the promenade after the sunset. the view is fabolous.
