Is this right? (trouser sizing)
  Hiya pls can you help me!
I'm watching some trousers on ebay which in the listing are put as a size 12, but it says they have a 35 inch waist - does that sound right to you?
I'm nowhere that i can compare it to - can anyone help!




34 inch waist is a 16, 36 is an 18, so no, it doesnt sound like a 12 sorry




Sounds a bit big to me,However I do have a tape measure here at work with me and I am a size 12.
35 incheas is way bigger than my waist (well what I would call my waist) but have measured around where my current trousers sit 3/4 inches below my waist and that is indeed 35 inches.

Unless their waistband actually sits on the waist I think that might be about right. I gave my size 10 mooch shorts a quick measure just now and their waistband measured about 32-33 inches despite my actual waist being about 26.

I thought that sounded big but i guess not if its around your hips, if theyre a little on the large side i can always get a belt! Thanks so much thats helped loads x
