Question:
Brown and Grey?
I found some lovely flat grey boots which would be fab for winter but then I hesistated when I realised one of my staple winter jackets is a chocolate brown colour, would this be a total non-no to wear them together?
Does anyone ever successfully pair brown with grey?

I think that it'll work, if you put a third colour with it - perhaps cream?
i always wonder this i think it depends on the shades I have a kind of slate grey top which looks nice with dull brown jumpers but i tried it with a grey marl top and it loked horrible...dont know if this makes sense but i think if theyre both from the same kind of family...muted, rich etc itll work....this explanation may sound ridiculous but i'm trying :o :)

I normally wear cream with brown anyway so I could give it a go:think:

I think i understand what you're trying to say!
Possibly because the grey marl has a white thread running through it this is why is doesn't look nice? I always find cream works with brown much better than white.
I'm much more hopeful now, the boots are a much darker grey and the brown is also very rich and dark so :fingers:
