Question:
Shoes to big or too small? ... Grrrrr!
Morning
I have a shoe dilemma.
I found these gorgeous red high heels but when I tried the size 5 on in the shop, they were too big, a big gap around the part where the bridge of foot and toes start and feet sliding down the shoe.
My mum has got me the size 4 as a gift...they're lovely but the 4 are a bit too tight.
Do I keep the 4 and stretch them slightly by wearing them around the house with socks on (advice I read on here) or take them back, exchange for the size 5 and buy some insoles?
Bugger!
Thanks

If they're leather, then I would probably go with the 4s - every single pair of leather shoes I have has stretched slightly with wear, so the 5s could end up even bigger. Depends whether the 4s are smaller than the 5s are big though - go with whatever is the closest to a proper fit and either stretch them or get some insoles. I'm a four and a half, and have this problem all the time!
