Question:
Customising flat shoes - help needed
Ive looked everywhere for a really comfy pair of flats. I have narrow feet and finding shoes that fit and feel ok is a nightmare. At the back of my wardrobe I found two old pairs of black flat shoes. They are really soft leather , fit like a glove and feel like walking on air. The only thing is they are really plain , slightly square at the front and come up a bit higher than ballet flats. So not quite the look I was after.
I then had the bright idea of trying to customise them to make them a bit more current and less plain. But where do I start. Inspiration needed
Depends on your style and how creative/brave you're feeling.
You could have a browse in a haberdashers for some trims you would add, e.g. lace, patterned ribbon, flowers. Or you could buy some leather paint and give your shoes an animal skin makeover or something.
