Rip Off !
  Oh my god... just browsing my favourite vintage fashion site and found this http://www.retrodress.com/dr42.html
..... the pattern of which is (I'm 99% sure) identical to the material in a topshop sundress I got this Summer. I'm sure most of you know the dress I mean, it also came as a skirt.
is ANYTHING original nowadays? :confused:




I think you're right! I'm sure I saw a dress in a very similar pattern. It makes me a bit sad to think everything is a copy of everything else, but I suppose in many ways it is.




yea, I'm probably being niaive (particularly after reading 'Fashion babylon' :rolleyes: ) but i didn't realise just how closely things were ripped off......:(




the dress is still on the TS website I think....
and nothing in fashion is original I'm afraid




Is it a US site? Designers get more protection here than they do over there.
Lots of designers simply don't have the resources to protect their designs from infringement.
I'm quite interested in reading Fashion babylon - is it any good?
