ebay question
Question:

ebay question
  hi guys
have just noticed someone is using my picture of an item I sold on ebay for their auction, is this allowed????

Answers:

No it breaches copyright! Needs reporting - they'll ask you to prove it ws your pic, probably by you linking to your old auction.
I had it with someone but couldn't prove it was mine as i deleted it off my virtual closet:rolleyes: Very peeved off at that bagger, why didn't they just ask?!

I have just noticed it is the girl I sold the dress to, and she is re-selling it with my picture does that change anything??

I suppose it's not *quite* as bad if she bought it off you in the first place, but it's still a cheek - she should have emailed you first to ask if she could use them! I've done that before, and people are usually quite happy if they're given the courtesy of asking, as I'm sure you would have been - it's very rude of her to just use them without asking, I'd be annoyed too.
I don't think I'd bother reporting it if it's the first time she's done it - probably more trouble then it's worth. I'd probably just send her a quick message to say something like 'Just noticed you were using my pictures - I think that is quite rude and you should have asked first, please ask me if you intend to do this again in future!'

Not really, she should have asked before she used the pic really, cheeky moo!
