Question:
Leopard print clothing, What do you think?
I bought a leopard print vest in the sale today from the limited collection at M&S for £7. It's quite a long one and has a double row of brown beads around the neckline. I've never worn leopard print before and just wondered what the general opinion is, Tacky or Not? I do like it but am worried that people will just think Bet Lynch/ tarty barmaid!
P.S it's not skimpy and has normal thick straps not shoestrings.

Worn with fairly plain clothing i think it looks great :great:
sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. everything else has to be very tasteful or you have to go OTT in an ironic way (and be able to carry it off).
and, as a busty blonde 34yo I have to be VERY careful !:o
Let's see.... I have four pairs of leopard print shoes, three leopard print jackets, a leopard print dress and three tops (but no vests :lol: ). So yes, I thoroughly approve of it, as you can probably tell :p
I love it with denim or dark colours, but recently I've been pairing it with strong colours like deep green, pink, purple or orange. It does look great with simple outfits, but I like having fun with it and mixing it up with other patterns and textures (say a fairly recent outfit involving emerald green cord skirt, leopard print swing jacket, hot pink shoes)
But then I'm small, non-busty and dark-haired so maybe I can get away with it a bit more...
