It's almost ..............
Question:

It's almost ..............
  ...... the weekend :yay: .
Apologies if I've missed this thread already.
Have been really rather ill with a virus this week which was probably exacerbated by my rather epic weekend  and I'm on antibiotics so I should be taking it easy this weekend, but realistically the wheels will be careering off by nine pm saturday I'm sure  .
So suppose the weekend starts tonight with a girlie dinner and gossip at Electric followed by cocktails at Trailer Happiness. Think I'll wear my burgundy TS spot shift with black leggings and grey ankle boots as it's a no brainer.
Friday night I'm going to go to yoga as hopefully it will be the first time this week I've been well enough to exercise. Then chocolates and Big Brother before bed so nothing very glamourous.
Saturday night going to a birthday party in Old Street with Lizzie and LJ which should be really really fun as the two girls whose party it is are wicked :yay: . Almost made the mistake of buying the same dress as one of the birthday girls specially for the party, but thankfully consulted Lizzie first and avoided that fatal error!! So I'm going to wear this strange super fine knit off the shoulder off white crochet short sleeve sweater dress thing from the posh bit in H&M. It's kind of Stella / Chloe / your Mum's most minging eighties sweater and has a wicked sash tie at the bottom. It's pretty short so I'm going to wear it with my black Office platforms and over the knee socks, backcombed barnet and tons of black eyeliner.
Sunday we're going to the Lock Tavern as Kooks, Babyshambles etc are meant to be Djing and they do the best roast in London. Will wear sixties wallpaper print mini dress in cream, red, purple and mustard with black leggings, grey ankle boots and huge red Dior sunnies.
So.... what's everyone else up to and what are you wearing????

Your weekend sounds great Mimi, as do your outfits. Have a good un :great:
Tomorrow night am going for a meal with the OH, not sure where yet but will probably wear long length brown vest, plain brown belt, black leggings, gold roman sandals and chunky brown ethnic style necklace with huge turquoise and yellow pendant.
Saturday, planning on having a lie-in and then meeting friends for lunch. Will probably wear denim cut offs (just above the knee), white smock style top, brown roman sandals. Saturday evening - really not sure yet, which is unlike me!!
Sunday may go shopping - have a job interview on Monday morning so want to get a nice shirt.
On Monday I have 2 weeks of work :yay: so after the interview I'm free!! Will do some holiday shopping before I set off for Ibiza on Wednesday - can't wait!!

Outfits sound lovely especially the leggings one. I really need some decent leggings that don't bag like buggers on my bum - where did you get yours?

oooo I was looking at that dress in H&M last weekend Mimi, they had it in black as well didn't they?
Gorgeous, but I was in two minds as to whether it would translate well to sombody who's a 14 and would want to wear it over ciggie leg jeans..... plus, would it look well on a C cup or would it look maternity........ they also had a jersy 60's short sleeve shift but it was a little longer........
Friday night will either be a nght in with a chinese or else going out for dinner with Mr O
Saturday will either be night in or night out depending on Friday
and Sunday will be the flicks to see The Break Up.
haven't even thought of outfits yet, but as I'm going shopping at lunchtime today and then into town Saturday mornnig I'm sure there'll be something new to consider  , particularly if my fine knit dress from **** arrives either today or tomorrow
Looking forward to planning our trips away for September this weekend too :yay:
