Question:
Shopping in Ireland?Ideas needed?
Hello! I'm going to Ireland next week and as I live in a country where there is no Primark will definitely do a spree in Penneys. Is it very similar to Primark or do they have very different stock? Same for other chains, can I expect them to have UK stock or different? (Will look at the homepages of few stores to get some idea what I'm going to look for..)
Any other ideas, am going bargain hunting so nothing too upscale ;) although I could probably splash on some great boots...Basically will be looking for jeans, boots and loads of cute tops...
I'm a bit out of touch with shopping in Ireland (Lived there 5 years ago) but OH has just told me we're going over there for a week at the beginning of Sept. Was going to post a thread along the same lines :)

Im from Dublin ( is it dublin you are going too ??)
Yeap penneys is primark and same stock...the main branch is on mary street just at the end of henry street ( the nothsides main shopping street ). In that area you will find the jervis shopping centre with topshop/debenhams, miss selfridge etc. back out on Henry stree there is H AND M and Marks and spencers, oasis.
On the south side you have grafton street as the main shopping street ( with basically branches of the same as northside )...but a bit posher with lots of yummy boutiques off the side streets.
You won't be stuck for shops :-)
Ooh sounds very good indeed! Yes, am going to Dublin, been there before but as a broke student (still not much improved but can at least shop now) so no shopping then.. Do you think I can go on the UK sites of Top Shop etc to have a look and expect to find most of the same items over there?
Absolutley rosie_xo, there's not much difference if any so it will give u ideas of all the goodies you want to buy :-)
