Credit Card help!
Question:

Credit Card help!
I've decided that I'm finally grown up enough to need a credit card. Trouble is, I don't have a clue which one to go for :o
I won't need a large limit or anything, as I'll be paying it off every month to avoid any interest charges.
Can anyone give me an idea on what I should be looking for? I'll mainly be using it for day to day things like, er, shopping ;) ordering online etc, rather than always use my debit card, although I'd also like to be able to use it abroad.
Thanks in advance - I seem to be clueless

Answers:

Well first of all low interest rates but a bonus would be one with an introductory offer of 0% on purchases for 'x' amount of months.
Here's some ones with 0% on purchases for the first so many months

ETA: Sorry you have to tick 'introductory rates for purchases'

thanks Cat!
Would a 0% introductory rate still be beneficial, even though I'm planning on paying the balance off every month  (I did say I was clueless!)

Or you could go with something like american express nectar where you get nectars points when you spend which can 'buy' you things

I've dealt with AMEX, Virgin, Capital one and Barclay card with no problems :)

Not really no hun, you've be better off with the amex nectar card so you can put the nectar points towards treats for yourself :D
We've gathered nearly 8000 points using it and that converts to £40 worth of argos vouchers so far. We're saving them for when we get our house.
