Grrrr, sensitive my ar*e!
Question:

Grrrr, sensitive my ar*e!
Just tried the new Body Shop sensitive cleansing foam, stripped my skin to buggery and now it's itchy and tight as cling film. Grrrr........... This is so going back to the shop tomorrow.

Answers:

I gave up on things meant for "sensitve" skin they rarely really are. Companines seem to think if you take out perfume that means its good for sensitive skin, bleh. Not even close.
I've just bought their Vitamin E day cream, I saw the sensitive range but never believe the hype these days especially with cleansers. Its all trial and error. I'm sticking to my Decleor Cleansing Milk, expensive but no reactions!

Answers:

anything labelled normally irritates my skin too!! they use more chemicals to strip out the smell etc so i must be sensitive to those
i go for products that are rose based as that is good for sensitive skin plus something with vitamin e in rather than specific sensitive products

Curls, sorry to hear that :(
I *hate* that tight cling film feeling, it's awful.

Answers:

It hasn't got soap, fragrance, preservatives or colourants in it - it's 94% aloe vera... however if you are sensitive to aloe vera, SLS or any of the other ingredients then it will still not be suitable. My aunt isn't allergic to anything *but* aloe vera so :meh:
Definitely take it back - if you have any trouble getting a refund write to head office. Heck, do it anyway, you may get a freebie :D
